Studies

Ongoing Studies

A number of surveys and studies have been undertaken since the site was first identified as having potential to accommodate a wind farm development. These have provided a detailed understanding of the existing environment at and around the site and what potential impacts the proposed wind farm may have.

As survey results are received they continue to inform detailed site layout. The consent application will include full details of the various studies and their findings.

Ecological Assessments

Our consultant ecologists have carried out a series of very detailed ecological assessments including a breeding bird survey, a wintering bird survey and other species specific surveys. The results of these assessments will be included within the Environmental Statement that will be submitted along with the consent application.

Other Assessments

A series of other assessments, studies and surveys are ongoing. These include, but are not limited to, hydrology, archaeology and noise. As with all of these studies the results will be included within the Environmental Statement that will be submitted along with the consent application.
